It’s not officially spooky season until Megan Thee Stallion says so. The Houston Hottie christened October with her pumpkin-head photo shoot tradition, which she posted to Instagram on Friday (Oct. 2).

The hilarious pictures find Megan bopping around with a carved pumpkin on her head with a blonde wig. She’s seen enjoying some of her Chicas Divertidas tequila with a few tacos alongside celebrity hairstylist Kellon Deryck.

The “Savage” rapper apologized for the delay, which she chalked up to work responsibilities. “Look, I was working on Oct 1st okayyy,” she wrote on her IG Story.

As pointed out by Complex, fans actually flooded her 2025 pumpkin photo shoot post with comments letting her know she was late this time around.

Even if Meg was a day behind for Spooktober 2026, the Hotties were excited to see her set the Halloween festivities in motion.

“I can’t with the wig but yes u know every Halloween we need ur cut out pumpkin head,” one person commented on Meg’s IG.

MTS takes her Halloween very seriously, and she should have more spooky season content on the way for the Hotties for the rest of October.

On the music front, Meg revived her Tina Snow alter ego, which returned with the hard-hitting “Tina Tuesday Freestyle” earlier this week. The Houston Hottie is back in the booth, and she’s warming up for her Act: III album, which the 31-year-old has continued to tease over the summer.

While she hasn’t released an official single in 2026, Megan Thee Stallion co-signed Dallas upstart Dolly Babe by hopping on the emerging rapper’s “Pink Blush (Remix)” on Sept. 25.

The Houston native’s last album, Megan, was released in 2024 and debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with 64,000 total album-equivalent units.
